Manhattan, looking east
Back to building software from 0 to 1. Invested 1.5 years building and launching Sightline, the OS for restaurants' corporate supply chain teams. Niche, important, underserved. Crafting delightful software for hard-working operators was incredibly rewarding.
Brickell, Miami
After eight years at Branch Metrics, took time off to reset. Slow mornings, zero meetings, and enough distance to figure out what I wanted to build next.
Pescadero, CA
Eight years at Branch Metrics, joining as one of the first engineers and eventually running product. Grew up alongside the company: 2 years in engineering, 6 years in product. Went from shipping features to deciding which ones were worth shipping.
San Francisco
After building iOS apps on a contract basis, I co-founded The League. Serving as the sole developer, I wrote the iOS app and deployed the server-side logic via a backend-as-a-service provider (RIP Parse). Quickly learned what it took to ship a product people actually use.
Main Quad, Stanford University
Transferred to Stanford to finish my undergrad and walked away with a BA in International Relations. Took three computer science classes — one of them "iPhone & iPad Programming" — which set me on the path to becoming a software developer.
